Owners Bruce Bayes and his wife Judith have spent over 30 years serving clients throughout Florida; providing custom fit wheelchairs and other complex rehab equipment.

Their clients at Custom Mobility (CMI) require accessible vehicles for safe and independent transportation. By acquiring MITS in 2009, MITS at Custom Mobility now offers the combined expertise in both accessible vehicles and custom adapted wheelchairs.

When a more comprehensive evaluation is required, the ability to draw from staff experience can be beneficial and help in the selection of the most appropriate adapted vehicle.

MITS at Custom Mobility will provide a free evaluation to determine the modifications you will need to help you make the right decisions on your vehicle purchase.

We may ask you questions like:

Do you need a full sized van or a minivan?
If you drive, will you transfer or drive from a wheelchair?
How tall do you sit in your wheelchair?
For increased headroom will you need a raised top or lowered floor?
What is the length and width of your wheelchair?
Do you anticipate your needs changing while you own the vehicle?
