ECLIPSE CONVERSIONS OWNER PROTECTION PLAN

3 YEAR/36,000 MILE LIMITED BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY

Eclipse Conversions warrants, to the original consumer, that products will be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 3 years or 36,000 miles from the original date of purchase, whichever comes first. If items are found to be defective, a replacement part will be supplied and warranted for only the unexpired portion of the original warranty. This warranty will be voided if the product is damaged or rendered inoperable by accident or incident; unreasonable or improper use; lack of maintenance; unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, or other charges unrelated to materials or workmanship. This warranty also excludes normal wear items as follows: floor mats, fuses, batteries, light bulbs, tires, non-skid surfaces on all step plates, and general cleaning and maintenance of the video cassette player.

This warranty applies to Eclipse Conversions products sold in the United States or Canada. Warranty protection for vehicles sold and operated outside these areas may differ, and warranty terms should be confirmed with the selling dealer or distributor. Your authorized Eclipse dealer will make necessary warranty repairs to your vehicle at no charge for parts or labor. A reasonable time must be allowed for repair work after taking the vehicle to the servicing dealer. Parts and labor for normal or required maintenance are not included under warranty.

If you are in an area where there are no authorized Eclipse dealers or component service centers within a reasonable distance, as determined by Eclipse Conversions considering the nature of the problem, service may be obtained at a mutually accepted alternate service point. However, authorization to have work performed must be first obtained from Eclipse Conversions at 1-800-501-1223. Such authorization does not constitute endorsement of the service point, its work, or any replacement components involved not supplied or otherwise used by Eclipse Conversions.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

This warranty does not cover consequential damages or economical loss. This includes, without limitation loss of use of the vehicle, expense for alternate transportation, lodging bills, the cost of bringing the vehicle to a service point, or loss of income. This warranty also excludes normal wear items as follows: floor mats, fuses, batteries, light bulbs, tires, non-skid surfaces on all step plates, and general cleaning/maintenance of electronic equipment (video cassette player, CD player, cassette player, etc.) This warranty does not apply to scratches, dings, dents, abrasions and/or stone chips, or damages caused by accidents, unauthorized alterations or repairs, improper or abrasive detergents or waxes, acid rain, industrial omissions of volatile or corrosive substances, automatic car washes and/or paint sealant is applied before the paint is fully cured.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLICABLE TO THIS VEHICLE IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty will last, so the above limitation may not apply to you . This is the only express warranty applicable to Eclipse Conversions. Eclipse Conversions does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with this vehicle. The performance or repairs and needed adjustments is the exclusive remedy under this written warranty or any implied warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. To validate this warranty, a properly completed Retail Delivery/Warranty Registration form signed by you and the selling dealer must be sent to Eclipse Conversions at the address shown on the form within 7 days of the retail delivery.
