FEATURES

RETRACTABLE LOCKING PLUNGER (PIN):

When activated by the Control Button, the retractable locking pin drops into place to secure the wheelchair to the base.  When not in use, the pin retracts for maximum ground clearance

CONTROL BUTTON:

Located on the armrest, the control button is used to drop the locking pin into place, so it can properly dock to the locking plate.

MANUAL RELEASE:

Wheelchair can be released manually in the event of vehicle power failure.

LOCKING PLATE:

An easy-to-install docking station that holds the chair firmly and securely in position.

EMERGENCY RELEASE HANDLE:

Locking mechanism can be opened manually with the emergency handle on the front edge of the locking plate.

VEHICLE CONTROL BUTTON:

Located on the dash of the vehicle, the control button uses three lights--red, amber and green--to inform the user whether or not the chair is locked into place.  To unlock the wheelchair from the locking plate, simply press and hold the control button until the locking mechanism is released.

ACCESSORIES

CHAIR BASE:

Permits use of original car seat in Permolock.

QUICK ANCHORING SET:

Used to anchor the Permolock in a vehicle and permits easy transfer of the lock between different positions in the vehicle.

INSTALLATION SPACER:

Used for installing Permolock on a sloping surface.

C500

Permolock is designed only for use with the C400 and C500 power wheelchairs.

Permolock must be installed by a certified NMEDA representative.  MITS is certified.
